Egg Prices in Major Domestic Areas on Nov 4

The China-data egg price index remains unchanged. According to the monitoring data of www.china-data.com.cn, on the 4th, the china-data egg price index is 3.43, unchanged from yesterday. Jiangxi records significant drops, with the average price down by RMB 0.03 / 500 g over yesterday to RMB 3.39 / 500 g. The average price in main sales areas is RMB 3.66 / 500 g, up by RMB 0.01 / 500 g over yesterday, with increases recorded in Fujian and stability reported in Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai, Tianjin and Zhejiang; the average price in the main producing areas is RMB 3.34 / 500 g, down by RMB 0.01 / 500 g from yesterday, with small drops registered in Anhui and Liaoning and stability seen in Hebei, Henan, Heilongjiang, Hubei, Hunan, Jilin, Jiangsu, Shandong and Shanxi. With regard to supply, the purchasing is relatively easy in most areas at present, with the purchasing especially easy in Southwest China and North China. In terms of demand, with the weather impact gradually coming to an end, the egg demand has returned to the flat state, and most areas report relatively slow deliveries, faster than yesterday, with slower deliveries recorded in Northeast China and Northwest China. The trading companies nationwide expect the stability with downtrend, with the strong downward expectation for Northeast China.
