Corn Prices Generally Stable in Northeast China on Nov 3
Date:04 November 2016
At present the activeness of purchase and sale of corn in the Northeast China markets has gradually faded away. With the declining transport capacity by rail and land, the increasing costs for logistics and transportation have pushed up the trade costs, which has significant impact on the sales of the trading companies. Currently, the market prices of corn in Northeast China remain stable, with the ex-warehouse prices of corn from RMB 1,300 to 1,400 / tonne in Heilongjiang, those from RMB 1,460 to 1,560 / tonne in Jilin and those from RMB 1,540 to 1,650 / tonne in Liaoning. It is expected that in the future with the supplies delivered to the markets intensively, the corn prices face the risk of declining.
