The standard herein (the "Standard") stipulates the quality standards, classification standards and inspection methods for No.2 soybean delivered at DCE.

The Standard applies to standard products and substitute products delivered under the No. 2 soybean futures contract of DCE.

The soybeans as stated in the Standard refer to those soybeans with yellow or pale yellow seed coat and whose navel is yellow-brown, light-brown, dark-brown, black or in other colors.

The provisions of the following documents are incorporated as the provisions of the Standard by reference. For those cited documents noted with dates, all of their following amendments (excluding corrections) and revised versions shall not be applied to the Standard; for those without noted dates, their latest versions shall be applied to the Standard.

3.3  Heat-damaged kernels: subject to the relevant explanations in SN/T 0798

4.3  Hygienic inspection and animal and foliage quarantine shall be subject to GB 1352.

Inspection methods

General rules of inspection, and inspection of crude fat, crude protein, moisture, impurities, broken, damaged and heat-damaged kernels, color and odor shall be subject to GB 1352; Methods of sampling and sample preparation shall be subject to SN/T 0800.1.

Additional note

The Standard shall be subject to the interpretation of DCE.
